THIS IS FOR NIGGAS
Niggas really out here thinkin Black Lives Matter is just about police brutality. It’s really not.
Its also about global freedom from whiteness, white supremacy, and anti-Blackness. and everything else that oppresses ALL Black folks including the poor, disabled, mentally ill, fat, dark-skinned, trans, and/or queer Black folks.
So when you say #BlackLivesMatter you need to be ready to fight for ALL Black lives or just stop fucking saying it if you just mean cishet Black men killed by police.
Black Lives Matter is about all trans and cis Black women being killed by police, Black men, and any other oppressive force because they are trans and/or Black women.
Black Lives Matter is about LGBTQ+ Black folks feeling like we can be safe from violence in our Black spaces and communities.
Black Lives Matter is about helping mentally ill Black folks get access to affordable treatment, have a platform to speak on, and not be shut down with “you need God” talk.
It’s about advocating for Black men, women, nonbinary ppl, and children to be safe from abuse in they own homes.
It’s about teaching men to respect women’s bodies and not simply see them as tools without using respectability politics to bludgeon women!
It’s about making sure poor Black folks have access to good food, affordable housing, transportation, education, and jobs!!
I could go on but my point is…
Black Lives Matter is about LIBERATION FOR EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US AND MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US!
REMEMBER EQUITY NOT JUS EQUALITY!
STOP FUCKING GETTING DEFENSIVE AND MAKING EXCUSES AND CHALLENGE YOUR OWN AND YOUR COMMUNITIES FATPHOBIA, TRANSPHOBIA, ABLEISM, CLASSISM, COLORISM, HOMOPHOBIA, RESPECTABILITY POLITICS, ETC.
Please read this article if you haven’t already on ForHarriet When Mother Doesn’t Know Best: Challenging Our Foremothers on Gender and Respectability. It deals with internalized misogynoir and women in our families upholding sexism and patriarchy.
Key words to google: DFAB, DMAB, cishet, and femme.
In Trans communities DFAB people have privilege over DMAB nonbinary femme folks and women.

DFAB Black people and cishet Black men can always be doing more for trans Black women and DMAB nonbinary and femme people!!! Try to do more today!

RIP Dee Dee (transmisogynoir trigger warning: misgendering and use of wrong pronouns in video). I wasn’t able to find a gofundme or youcaring link for her but I will update yall as I get more info. When I said Dee Dee had lost her life today I meant the day I recorded the episode I apologize for any confusion.
RIP Essence Bowman. This is the link to her gofundme and that also explains more of her story. She was mentally ill and left behind 4 children.
Remember #BlackWomenMatter #SayHerName
“Always remember that when you are a Black girl every day that you exist in your body without apologizing is activism.”
Do something for you today love 💞
Thank yall for all your support and love!
